HATS CATEGORY VIII - Stunning Effectiveness On 9/23/2025, I, CSI REDACTED was performing a Livestock Humane Handling Verification Task at M20249 Livingston's Meat and observed the following non-compliance. At approximately 0819 hours, I witnessed the establishment move a female Bovine into the knock box. While restrained, a stun attempt utilizing a 9MM rifle was observed to contact the animal but was ineffective, as the Bovin remained standing with tracking eye movement. The establishment immediately delivered an effective corrective action stun, rendering the animal insensible, and it remained so thereafter. A US reject tag, B27772662, was immediately placed on the chute and I notified the establishment owner, Mr. REDACTED, of the non-compliance.
