416.5(a)
On 3.28.2025 at approximately 6:00 am I CSI REDACTED and Doctor REDACTED preformed an Operational SSOP verification in the variety meats room. While conducting this procedure Doctor REDACTED, checked under the printer/scale and noticed the dry ice metal vat case was covered with plastic over the top. When inspecting the inside of the metal vat after removing the blue plastic on top it was noted that inside where foreign contents violating regulation 416.5, all persons must adhere to hygienic practices. QA Technician REDACTED had left liquid drinks in the metal vat case with dry ice in it. QA Technician REDACTED and quality assurance manager REDACTED were notified at this time and corrective measure were carried out. Operations proceeded as normal at approximately 6:15 am and the plant manager was informed that an NR was issued.
