HATS Category III - Access to water Today on 7/10/25, at approximately 0745 hours, I, SCSI was performing a HATS for Livestock Humane Handling task, accompanied by DVMS. While observing the holding pens, 2 cattle were being held in separate pens. Each beef is generally offered water in shallow pans. One beef had access to water, while the other did not. The shallow pan for the second beef had been pushed into the next pen and contained no water. I notified REDACTED, lead operator of the noncompliance with 9 CFR 313.2(e). I asked him to provide water for the beef, in which he did right away. This brought him back into compliance.
