Non-Compliance Description:

At approximately 8:26am. On Wednesday 08/20/25. I Consumer Safety Inspector walked out to the livestock pens to perform a Humane Handling task and notice the following noncompliance. White cutting knife left on top of the bricks at pen #4. Per Regulation 9CFR 313.1(a) states livestock pens, driveways, and ramps should remain free from sharp objects that can cause injury or pain to the animals. Stripling's employee came behind me and was immediately told to remove the sharp object. Plant manager REDACTED was notified verbally of the noncompliance. This is a deviation of 9CFR 313.1(a)
