The initial stun attempt with a 38-caliber rifle was observed to contact the animal but was ineffective, as the animal vocalized and remained standing, with tracking eye movement. The stun operator quickly reloaded and delivered an immediate and effective corrective action with the same firearm, rendering the animal insensible, and it remained so thereafter. I notified Mr. REDACTED of the observed non-compliance with 9 CFR 313.16(a)(1) and 9 CFR 313.16(a)(3), and applied US Rejected tag # B 25 008662 to the knock box.

The stun operator quickly reloaded, and delivered immediate and effective corrective actions with the same firearm, rendering the animal insensible, and it remained so thereafter. I notified Mr. REDACTED and establishment owner Mr. REDACTED of the observed non-compliance with 9 CFR 313.16(a)(1) and 9 CFR 313.16(a)(3), and applied US Rejected tag # B41 458491 to the knock box.
