According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2023 Q2, Hawaii added 1,131 number of private business establishments in the service-providing industry. Among all Hawaii counties, Honolulu added the highest number of private business establishments (406), followed by Hawaii (110), and Maui + Kalawao (109).
