According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in December, 2022, Kansas added the highest number of jobs to the local government heavy and civil engineering construction industry (130), followed by Oregon (54), and Maine (42).

On the other hand, Massachusetts added the least number of jobs (-136), followed by Texas (-67), and Tennessee (-43).
