According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2023, Texas added the highest number of jobs to the local government heavy and civil engineering construction industry (74), followed by Missouri (58), and Kansas (30).

On the other hand, New Jersey added the least number of jobs (-81), followed by Massachusetts (-53), and Maine (-44).
