According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2023, New Jersey added the highest number of jobs to the local government heavy and civil engineering construction industry (69), followed by Texas (56), and Illinois (28).

On the other hand, Minnesota added the least number of jobs (-92), followed by Massachusetts (-83), and Oregon (-60).
