United States Payroll Employment By State for The Local Government Public Administration Industry in August, 2022

According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2022, Michigan added the highest number of jobs to the local government public administration industry (5,070), followed by Wisconsin (4,418), and Tennessee (1,734).

On the other hand, New York added the least number of jobs (-2,383), followed by Illinois (-2,311), and Indiana (-2,241).
