According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2020, Alaska added the highest number of jobs to all private business establishments (-2,281), followed by Wyoming (-4,333), and Vermont (-4,386).
On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-257,900), followed by New York (-225,962), and Texas (-170,071).
