According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2023, California added the highest number of jobs to all private business establishments (112,628), followed by Michigan (42,983), and Pennsylvania (39,712).
On the other hand, Louisiana added the least number of jobs (-2,902), followed by Vermont (-2,288), and Hawaii (-371).
