According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in February, 2019, Alaska added 3,864 number of jobs to the private goods-producing industry. Among Alaska counties, Kodiak Island added the highest number of jobs (868), followed by Aleutians West (458), and North Slope (295).
