According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2023, Alaska added 32,340 number of jobs to the private goods-producing industry. Among Alaska counties, Aleutians West added the highest number of jobs (1,290), followed by North Slope (610), and Kodiak Island (379).
