According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2020, Alaska added 33,725 number of jobs to the private goods-producing industry. Among Alaska counties, Aleutians West added the highest number of jobs (1,371), followed by Kodiak Island (210), and Bethel (138).
