According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2021, Alaska added 1,632 number of jobs to the private goods-producing industry. Among Alaska counties, Anchorage added the highest number of jobs (1,335), followed by Fairbanks North Star (615), and Matanuska-Susitna (326).
