According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2023, Washington added 69,269 number of jobs to the private natural resources and mining industry. Among Washington counties, Benton added the highest number of jobs (1,123), followed by Whatcom (173), and Kittitas (64).
