According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in June, 2023, Washington added 22,789 number of jobs to the private natural resources and mining industry. Among Washington counties, Yakima added the highest number of jobs (5,736), followed by Benton (4,312), and Grant (2,607).
