United States Payroll Employment By State for The Private Manufacturing Industry in May, 2021

According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2021, Michigan added the highest number of jobs to the private manufacturing industry (6,509), followed by California (5,003), and Pennsylvania (2,159).

On the other hand, Illinois added the least number of jobs (-5,549), followed by Missouri (-1,562), and South Carolina (-1,397).
