United States Payroll Employment By State for The Private Manufacturing Industry in May, 2023

According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2023, Texas added the highest number of jobs to the private manufacturing industry (2,492), followed by Washington (2,341), and New York (1,705).

On the other hand, Alaska added the least number of jobs (-1,330), followed by Indiana (-1,297), and Wisconsin (-1,174).
