According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2021, Illinois added 1,549 number of jobs to the private trade, transportation, and utilities industry. Among Illinois counties, Whiteside added the highest number of jobs (257), followed by Kane (235), and Peoria (211).
