According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2023, Illinois added 1,130,128 number of jobs to the private trade, transportation, and utilities industry. Among Illinois counties, DuPage added the highest number of jobs (3,537), followed by Rock Island (2,950), and Grundy (807).
