According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2022, South Dakota added the highest number of jobs to the private hog and pig farming industry (12), followed by Oklahoma (10), and Nebraska (5).

On the other hand, Minnesota added the least number of jobs (-53), followed by Illinois (-42), and Ohio (-33).
