According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2023, Iowa added the highest number of jobs to the private hog and pig farming industry (19), followed by Kansas (14), and Minnesota (12).

On the other hand, Illinois added the least number of jobs (-33), followed by Missouri (-21), and Indiana (-20).
