According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in June, 2020, Colorado added -1,156 number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry. Among Colorado counties, La Plata added the highest number of jobs (12), followed by San Miguel (7), and Fremont (4).
