According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2022, Michigan added 197 number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry. Among Michigan counties, Wayne added the highest number of jobs (17), followed by Kalkaska (12), and Berrien (11).
