According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2022, Texas added the highest number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry (1,603), followed by North Dakota (620), and Minnesota (312).

On the other hand, Nevada added the least number of jobs (-51), followed by Mississippi (-15), and Arkansas (-7).
