According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2019, Missouri added 151 number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry. Among Missouri counties, Jefferson added the highest number of jobs (14), followed by Cape Girardeau (11), and Jackson (4).
