According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in July, 2019, Texas added -1,564 number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry. Among Texas counties, Midland added the highest number of jobs (97), followed by Dallas (86), and Karnes (54).
