According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2020, Texas added -19,840 number of jobs to the private mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry. Among Texas counties, Galveston added the highest number of jobs (32), followed by San Patricio (28), and Williamson (27).
