According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in February, 2023, California added the highest number of jobs to the private construction of buildings industry (5,709), followed by Texas (2,770), and Georgia (751).

On the other hand, Pennsylvania added the least number of jobs (-432), followed by Illinois (-409), and Minnesota (-356).
