According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2021, Illinois added the highest number of jobs to the private nonmetallic mineral product manufacturing industry (677), followed by Minnesota (668), and Iowa (641).

On the other hand, North Carolina added the least number of jobs (-259), followed by New Jersey (-74), and Kentucky (-59).
