According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2023, Iowa added the highest number of jobs to the private nonmetallic mineral product manufacturing industry (627), followed by Michigan (479), and Illinois (405).

On the other hand, Texas added the least number of jobs (-417), followed by Colorado (-143), and South Carolina (-130).
