According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of California was 5.8% (sa) in December, 2007. Among all California counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Imperial (18.5%), Colusa (17.1%), and Trinity (12%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Marin (3.7%), San Mateo (3.8%), and Orange (4.1%).
