According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of California was 12.6% (sa) in March, 2010. Among all California counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Imperial (26.8%), Colusa (26.6%), and Plumas (24.3%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Marin (8.6%), San Mateo (9.1%), and Mono (9.3%).
