According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of California was 12.4% (sa) in November, 2010. Among all California counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Imperial (30.3%), Colusa (21.6%), and Sutter (18.7%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Marin (8%), San Mateo (8.4%), and San Francisco (9.1%).
