According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of California was 12.4% (sa) in October, 2010. Among all California counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Imperial (30.9%), Sutter (17%), and Yuba (16.8%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Marin (7.7%), San Mateo (8.2%), and San Francisco (8.8%).
