According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of California was 9.4% (sa) in March, 2013. Among all California counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Colusa (24.2%), Imperial (24%), and Plumas (18.7%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Marin (5.4%), San Mateo (5.5%), and San Francisco (5.8%).
