According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of California was 8.5% (sa) in November, 2013. Among all California counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Imperial (23.1%), Colusa (19.5%), and Sutter (14%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Marin (4.8%), San Mateo (4.9%), and San Francisco (5%).
