According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of California was 8% (sa) in March, 2014. Among all California counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Colusa (24.6%), Imperial (21.2%), and Plumas (16.5%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): San Mateo (4.8%), Marin (4.8%), and San Francisco (5%).
