According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of California was 15.7% (sa) in May, 2020. Among all California counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Imperial (28.1%), Mono (27.5%), and Alpine (23.8%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Lassen (9.9%), Modoc (10.4%), and Trinity (11%).
