According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of California was 8.5% (sa) in February, 2021. Among all California counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Colusa (18.1%), Imperial (17.4%), and Plumas (13.6%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Marin (5.6%), San Mateo (5.7%), and Santa Clara (5.9%).
