According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Michigan was 9.2% (sa) in January, 2012. Among all Michigan counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Mackinac (25.5%), Montmorency (19.4%), and Cheboygan (19.2%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Washtenaw (5.9%), Clinton (6.6%), and Ottawa (7.2%).
