According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Jersey was 6.9% (sa) in July, 2021. Among all New Jersey counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Atlantic (10.5%), Passaic (9.6%), and Essex (9.3%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Hunterdon (5.4%), Morris (5.9%), and Somerset (6%).
