According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Jersey was 6.2% (sa) in September, 2021. Among all New Jersey counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Atlantic (8.2%), Passaic (7.7%), and Essex (7.3%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Hunterdon (4%), Morris (4.4%), and Somerset (4.5%).
