According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of the US was 4% (sa) in April, 2018. Among all US states and DC, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates: Alaska (6.1%), District of Columbia (5.8%), and West Virginia (5.3%).
On the hand, the following three states were among those with low unemployment rates: Hawaii (2.2%), North Dakota (2.5%), and Vermont (2.6%).
