According to data from the World Bank, in 1982, among all African countries, Mauritius had the highest Male life expectancy at birth in Africa (64.62 years), followed by Seychelles (64.3 years), and Tunisia (63.42 years). On the other hand, South Sudan had the lowest Male life expectancy at birth in Africa in 1982 (38.17 years).
