According to data from the World Bank, in 2005, among all African countries, Algeria had the highest Male life expectancy at birth in Africa (71.76 years), followed by Tunisia (71.38 years), and Libya (69.62 years). On the other hand, Lesotho had the lowest Male life expectancy at birth in Africa in 2005 (41.44 years).
