According to the FBI UCR data, in 2020, there were 5,954 adult arrests made in the US for arson offenses.

By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (4.35K), followed by Black or African American (1.32K), and Asian (138).

By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 5,115 (86%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (3.98K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (1.13K).
