According to the FBI UCR data, in 2023, there were 6,563 adult arrests made in the US for arson offenses.

By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (4.71K), followed by Black or African American (1.58K), and Asian (128).

By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 5,636 (86%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (4.32K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (1.32K).
